Seems like Region 2 get a Director's Cut. So can anyone of you region 2 fans tell us what's different about this "Director's Cut"?

Thanks.

I've got the R1, and have compared it with the R4 only, but the R2 DC looks like the best one.

The Director's Cut also comes with a very nice glossy 35+ page booklet about the actors and production.

Does the Director's Cut come in a (gasp) jewel case?

No it comes in this neat, really thin, hard plastic DVD case. I don't buy a lot or R2 DVDs, but I haven't seen a cas like this before.

Whoops. Looks like I had been been misinformed. I thought a jewel case was exactly that which you described, but now I realize that a jewel case is just like a regular CD case. How humiliating.

Anyway, thanks for the info. I bought Lock, Stock... (theatrical cut) from the Amsterdam airport; the Dutch version also comes in one of those hard plastic cases. I must say I really hate those. I wish the Director's Cut was available in a regular keep case.

Thank god no distributor in Finland puts out DVDs in those cases...

I love those Lock, Stock & 2 Smoking Barrels cases. While the cheap & wrinkled look of common keepcase brands fills me with nothing but disgust. Strange how tastes differ.
