I own Sony DVP 525 and which is Region Free.

Unfortunately, it doesn't play RCE DVDs.

Any solution or workaround ?

Try to select zone 1 manually, if possible!

I have a JVC, and in order to get around the
RCE. I played a regular REGION 1 disc with no RCE
and once its been read, press stop, eject and
play the RCE disc. This works for me anyway.
