AMAZON UK ordering questions

I was thinking of ordering the Harry Potter 8 film set, so I put together an order with that and two other DVDs and proceeded to checkout without actually submitting the order

1) Last time I ordered there was an option to submit the payment in U.S. dollars and lock it in ... has that gone away? and is it now a question of having the CC co. do the conversion and paying their fees?

2) It looks like the price on the website is without VAT and is added on at checkout time for UK customers. The price used to include VAT and then was subtracted for U.S. customers. Is this correct? or am I doing something wrong.

3) Is there a site where you can see DVD / Blu-ray releases available in UK and abroad that are not available in U.S.

1) You can still check out in US dollars except for preorders. Their exchange rate tends to be a bit in their favor though. Some find it better to check out in pounds. My CC charges me an exchange fee making it a wash.

2) Prices on the site still reflect the VAT although I've noticed lately I don't see the VAT subtracted individually until after I've checked out.

3) Not that I know of.

The ones that say "shipped from Amazon" should take off the VAT in the cart. THe ones that say they are shipped from something? island don't have the VAT added onto the price on the website, so nothing will be subtracted from them in the cart.
