Anyone know if the region 2 releases of these are anamorphic or not? Can’t find the info on any UK site and am getting a little hacked off supporting Di$ney in their quest to sell all their movies twice over.

The R2 versions are also non-anamorphic.

Are you sure? I don't have a WS set but James is marked as Widescreen version 16:9 which tends to be Pathe's way of saying anamorphic (the film is 1.85:1). I have a German version of Nightmare which is also marked 16:9 (the film is 1.66:1). I know, I know, it's pretty naive to believe anything on the boxes but....

Checked both of these out last night. My Region 2 versions are both definitely anamorphic!
