Laughing? He's gonna be in hysterics!

The lengths people will go to just to get Star Wars on DVD. I'm just as bad though, i've been following Ebay for ages trying to get a good deal for them.
Truth is, i'm still going to get them when the official release comes out, as so is everyone else.
I heard of this superdvd ages ago and at about $11 shipped per DVD, it's way better than Ebay. But i guess that was the idea. People would see Ebay's ridiculous prices and then see his site. They're going for about $120 on Ebay and then shipping, but from this guy it was about $40 shipped.
Superdvd was onto the perfect con and we couldn't help it could we? If you're going to save over $80, you damn right it's worth it.
Problem is, it's gone sour for all of us. I was on the verge from ordering from this guy but not anymore, at the least i'll wait to see if you bunch get yours. His site has been up for ages, i can't believe he's been doing over people for that long.

Thought i would keep you posted on this topic. This guy told me that i was to expect the arrival of my DVDs today (saturday) at the latest. He told me he had sent my DVDs in 3 packages. Surprisingly, the son of a b**ch has lied through his teeth and i have still received sweet F.A.
I have had conversation with the guy on ICQ almost everyday and he keeps insisting he has sent it, but like i said, the latest time for it to arrive was today and i still have nothing to show for it.
Not only that, when speaking to him today again, he now says it will come by Wednesday and then he will say. most likely, wait till the weekend, and it will go on!
He also slipped in conversation and accidently said he had sent 2 packages, getting caught up in his own lies. I said what happened to NO. 3 and was told that one had been returned to him. When i asked why he hadn't mentioned it B4 and why he hadn't resent it, surprise surprise again, he had only had it returned today and was going to send it.
He went on with all the bulls*it that he's never conned anyone, but he couldn't tell me what DVDs he'd sent or how he had sent them ie. what type of mail, whether it needs to be signes for, etc.
He even let slip that there are people from October last year who have still not received their DVDs.
What a fkg lump of s**t. I am sorry for my language, but i am so f**ked off with this lying son of a b**ch.

Yes I've been chatting with him on icq even told him to have a look here and see how pissed off people are. He said mine have been resent and I should get them this week.

If I ever get them your be the first to know.

I still have not been contacted by him. Perhaps 1 DVD is not worth any hassle. Well, it was only $12, what's that, about £8, maybe he's not arsed about wasting his breath over it.
How many did you order Uber? Perhaps he does not want to cheese off those with the bigger wallets, knowing he may get a better business in future. Whether he comes good or not, i won't bother with this guy, he only paid attention after this thread was created. Not worth the hassle.

Hi guys, well here's my update.
Of the 3 packages that have now all been sent, 1 has arrived. All DVDs are scratched, but most copies are fine. Star Wars Episode I is absolutely fantastic a copy! Sadly, the copy off Face Off is damaged beyond repair. Half of the movie is just frozen. I have contacted Super DVD who assures me he will send a replacement. While this is all good, if u discount the damaged DVD, i have received less than half the DVDs i paid for. I would like to believe the rest will be arriving shortly (this and another packaged were apparenty sent at the same time), but will keep you guys posted. Looks promising though.

From what i can gather, Superdvd has disappeared again, not answering emails about where my remaining DVDs are. As an overall therefore, i have to conclude that this guy cannot be guaranteed at all. He only contacted some of us about our DVDs once this topic began, otherwise we all were going to lose our money. But, even after this, it appears he is only sending a handful of DVDs. I don't believe he can be entirely trusted and sending payment is at own risk. He has taken a lot of my money and for the DVDs i have received, i can safely say that it meant these are the most expensive DVDs i have ever and will ever pay for. If u order small, he'll probably keep the money and hope u'll forget it about it for a measly $12 (like msk). If u order big, u'll probably only get half what u pay for, which also is not that good. This is my experience, i hope it helps others. Later.

I usually don't check this forum, but having seen this message, I've been reading through all the messages and seen all the angry people.

Man, this is terrible. I'm sorry for all of you guys who seemed to have been conned by this thug.

My suggestion for the rest of you guys who want the Star Wars DVDs is to either wait, or get a friend to buy them for you from Hong Kong or something; the best way is really to it direct because of the following:

My friend went there last month, and got himself a set for less than $8 US. That's $2 a disc. That's how much you can buy them for.

People that sell them on ebay mark them up several thousand percent and still sell them! Geez, anyone doing that would be rich by now. It's no surprise that this con was capitalizing on this as well. Be careful about all overseas transactions especially through a shady website like this; just looking at it you can tell it's bogus. My friend told me from his experience if you buy them there directly, there are plenty of friendly people that will sell for a really good price.

But I'm probably doing more harm than good, so sorry if this post is a little discouraging, and a little too late. Good luck to all of you who ordered; I hope you get your discs; at least you didn't pay too huge a price.

Ya, I was in Beijing within the last few months and got over 40 dvds for $85. Thats just about $2 a movie. I got the starwars trilogy with all of those movies as well. Its too bad that:

A) This guy is ripping people off
B) Is selling movies for $10 when he is getting them for $2 a piece. (even though he isn't even selling anything)

this guy and sent him an email inquiry.
He never replied back so I didn't order
from him.

I agree the best way to get these DVDs
is either through a personal friend that lives
in HK or somebody you know that is going
over there. I understand if US customs
discovers multiple copies of these DVDs
in your luggage, they will confiscate them
and you may risk fines. However one copy
for personal use seems to be acceptable(!)

I was in HK last year but didn't find any
DVDs going for $2US. VCDs were selling for $2US,
*NOT* DVDs. The average price for DVDs were
about $12-$25US. Much like here in the US.

So, appears that this dude is not trustworthy at all. Basically, it's pot luck if you get your DVDs.
I've also heard that you can get them for $2 or so, i wish i had a buddy over there or someone i knew was going on vacation there.
Sorry to those of you who did not get what they paid for, just unlucky i suppose.

I icq'd him and he more or less admitted he was screwing people. He seemed to be well pissed about this site - i guess people have been recommending him from here, but it's gone a bit dry since this topic came up, probably the main reason for sending the movies in the 1st place. Anyway, i support the cause, it sucks to get conned, that's my 2 cents anyway, later amigos!

Just to bring this back to life, Superdvd has contacted me again and aplogised for the non-arrival of my DVDs. He says he did send them and, as they have not arrived, will send me another set. He says he sent the new set on Monday, i should get it at the start of next week, i'll keep u lot posted. He has said this before and messed me around, so we'll see if he continues...

Interesting that he contacted you all of a sudden.....maybe this contact is in response to an email he received from our federal government here in the states warning him of a pending investigation....???? Friendly advice was given to him that he should either fulfill these orders or refund the money in question!!! Once again, is it coincidence that he suddenly contacted you??? Has anyone else received an email from this guy regarding their orders?? I guess we will see.....

Am i and all the others finally get what we paid for?

My current employment is in law enforcement here in the states....I contacted a gentleman(FBI) who I have known for years with the information regarding this website and what has been happening to individuals who have been shopping through this site. Since some of the customers are from the states, he took an interest in the matter and utilized the email address I had given him to send a warning to this guy to either fulfill the orders or refund the money to the individuals who have lodged complaints against him. He has been warned about a possible investigation and I do say possible...nothing is guaranteed since this guy is overseas but at least he has been warned. I thought it was interesting that he contacted you since he probably received this email over the weekend!!! Hopefully this means he is going to take care of all outstanding orders. I would suggest for anyone overseas to contact their federal authorities with information on this guy so maybe they could become directly involved!!!
I am not sure if this has been attended to or not by anyone outside of the USA!!! Good Luck!!!

It would be cool if i could finally get the DVDs or just my money back and wash my hands of this sorry affair. I think i will just stick to Amazon and other reputable companies for my DVDs in future. Anyone else get a post from Superdvd? I'll keep posted to see if they turn up.
BTW, you know a guy in the FBI?
Who killed Kennedy? Is Elvis alive? Is the truth really out there? Will i find it on Ebay?
