Dog of Flanders: Is this a bootleg?

I've been looking for the Dog of Flanders TV series on DVD for quite some time now and the only ones I've seen so far were only in Korean/Japanese with no English subtitles at all.

I came across this...apparently it has English subtitles

http://www.atomicmall.com/view.php?id=374418

However, it's region free...I just want to ensure that this isn't some cheap bootleg. Especially with English subtitles typed by somebody with out any knowledge of the language...I'd pay extra for quality on this title. And I'd wait for a better release if this isn't good quality.

Please let me know either way!

It looks like everything in that seller's store is bootlegged.

YesAsia has a listing for a Hong Kong boxset of half the series which supposedly has English subtitles. You may want to E-mail them for a confirmation, since the second boxset is listed with no subtitles at all. I'm assuming one of the two listings is wrong.

This website lists English subs for volume 2. I think we can safely assume YesAsia's "No subtitle" is wrong -- the odds of an HK disc without even Chinese subs is extremely low.

This site also lists English subtitles as well...

Seems to be a legit release...now I just wish I could find a legit release of Princess Knight (Ribbon No Kishi) with English subtitles.

Thanks for the clarification...the similar cover art to the one for sale on YesAsia threw me off.
