HAMLET - Kenneth Branagh
Hi,
I'm new to this site. I wanted to surprise my dad for christmas by finding him a copy of the dvd Hamlet (96 version I think) starring Kenneth Branagh....unfortunately the only copy I could find was on amazon and it says it has different region codes and thus you can not play it on our dvd players.Does anyone know where I can find a copy???? Or when it is being released in Australia??

I assume you live in Australia and there isn't a release of it down there yet. The US disc is coded for Regions 1,2,3 and 4, in NTSC.
Australia, of course, is Region 4 and PAL. Most PAL players can play NTSC discs, but you should try and make sure of that first on your fathers machine. it should say on the manual, on the machine itself, or sometimes a PAL/NTSC button on the player.
If your player can handle NTSC, then go ahead and get the American disc.
