Still decreasing. I ordered Leon Morin the other day with another title and it's gone down about three pounds in three days. Luckily, I was able to still cancel and re-order.

Geoffrey Jones: The Rhythm Of Film [1956] is currently £7.98 at amazon.co.uk
R.W. Paul also dropped again: is now £7.98

I guess the question is whether these sales at amazon can catch up with the BFI stuff prior to the BFI sale ending (end of Sept.). The two above are much more discounted than at the BFI store, while others are still more expensive (£10.98 ) or not on sale at all.

Yeah, I'll wait until the last day of September to see if Radio On and Dreams That Money Can Buy also go down to £7.98 before placing an order.

Dreams That Money Can Buy [1946] has decreased from £10.97 to £7.98

Phil Mulloy - Extreme Animation [1999] has decreased from £10.97 to £8.48

Still holding out for Mad Love, Journey to Italy, and Radio On.

Radio On seems stuck at 50% off, so I went ahead and pulled the trigger: Partie De Campagne, Le Cercle Rouge, Dreams That Money Can Buy, Paris Nous Appartient, R.W. Paul, Distant Voices, Still Lives, and Radio On. Not bad for £58.66.

Luckily I was able to cancel my order and redo it, thanks for the heads up.

I'm pretty sure it is. Either way, the films are amazing.

Apparently two DVDs from the 10 pack are damaged. I already requested a replacement.

From your experience, how does Amazon.co.uk handle the returns/replacements?
(I'm kinda annoyed that I have to pay for the shipping back)

You shouldn't have to pay for anything, or even return it. I've had five orders from Amazon.co.uk arrive either damaged, defective, or late, and each time they've simply sent me a replacement copy, no questions asked. This is why I always use Amazon for UK orders - they don't give you any problems with replacements. When I ordered a DVD through Movie Mail that I never received, they told me they could only send me a replacement copy or issue a refund when/if the DVD made it's way back to them. Obviously that never happened, and I was out 24 bucks. When I received a damaged box set from DVD Hut, though they reimbursed me for the return shipping, it took several weeks, as did the replacement copy. I informed both companies of Amazon's superior customer service, and told them they would no longer have my business. Just send Amazon an email about it. The only problem in this case might be that they have no replacement copies, since it was a limited edition.

^ You should be OK, seeing as they still have it in stock on the site.

What titles were damaged, and how?

Thank you for the suggestions.

It seems the damages in the first set are also present into the second one.

The following discs have issues:
1. Jack Clayton's Innocents - did not play at all; at first the disc from the second box set did not play, only to start after a few minutes.
2. The second disc of Jacques Rivette's "Celine and Julie Go Boating", featuring some short films, did not play. The replacement does not play either.

Is there anyone else having the same problem? If so, we may be heading toward a recall.

Did you request a second replacement? I am considering placing an order for the set in the next couple of days.

I did not request a second replacement. It may very well be an issue related to VLC Player, which I use for playing non-R1 DVDs on the computer. I did not get to a region-free stand-alone DVD player to prove this assertion.
Eventually, after a minute or two of wait, the "Innocents" DVD became readable.

That is encouraging. Thanks for the update.
