I want to purchase l 'annulaire but, have some questios about the dvd. The only place that has it in stock is dvd asia. There was an original french version with english subtitles and it was presented in 2:35 ratio and unrated. The dvd asia dvd is presented in 1:85 ratio. Does anyone know where I can find the original french version with english subs and unrated? Is the dvd asia copy uncut?

I actually have this disc in my collection and it does not have English subs (you could order it from any of the major e-vendors, Fnac, Amazon.fr).

If you are looking for an English-friendly version of it I recommend that you pick the Canadian disc courtesy of Warner. It is rather cheap and I do believe it is uncut.

Anyone happen to know how the transfer on the UK disc compares to the Canadian release? I haven't been able to find one single review of it.

Warner's Canadian disc is rather suspect in the PQ department, with a tremendously grainy picture and a severe lack of sharpness.

I see the US release is coming in about a week from Strand. Their website doesn't really provide a whole lot regarding specs, but it does state that it'll be widescreen letterboxed.

It is solid. You could place your order!
