1960's film with Burt Lancaster - somewhat self-conscious suburban angst. I sold my OOP R1 disc for big bucks on Amazon, so I was pleased to find an (apparently) idential R2 title for peanuts. I just finished re-watching There's Always Tomorrow (the R4 disc) and it's now officially my favorite Sirk film. Starker and less artificial than his Technicolor work, it's a real gem, archly ironic and featuring fantastic performances from Fred MacMurray (never better) and Stanwyck.

Glad to be of help. Looking forward to see it. Was thinking about getting the German BR which came out in late November already but it is priced higher plus higher shipping cost, and has no English subtitles which would suck for my wife. I would have been fine with the German subtitles.

Re: What Have You Ordered Recently? Part 7

FYI: I ordered the Australian BD of The Boys From Brazil from cdwow.us for $15.99 and it is labeled as Region B, but it is All Region. This is a slightly better deal than the UK disc at Amazon when you include shipping costs, and an identical disc.

I am done with cd.wow. I won't give them another chance. I prefer to pay a few more bucks somewhere else without the hassle. I hope you get your order!

Didn't the French release come out around the same time as well? (No Eng. Subs)

January is definitely looking like a good month to order from Amazon UK, with Mesrine, Antichrist and Suspiria all hitting BD. Hooray for Region-Free BD players!

Also on a random note, I'll pretty much watch anything that Vincent Cassel is in.

Amazon.fr shows that the French BR came out in July, but as you mentioned not English friendly.

Vincent Cassel is one of my favorite actors too. Always fun to watch.

On another note, there is a new French/Belgian "Lucky Luke" movie coming out. Not with Cassel but it sure looks like fun. Are you familiar with "Lucky Luke"?

Krelyan - email Amazon UK with the order # and tell them which duplicate titles you want canceled. I made the same mistake myself, and was able to cancel the duplicates without problem. The sooner the better though, especially if your order is about to ship. That's a great order you've placed, by the way - I own almost all of those titles myself!

You can also cancel the item, place another order for it with the correct quantity and combine the new order with the previous one.

Although if the price has gone up in the interim, you will lose the savings.
