Re: What Have You Ordered Recently? Part 7

Amazon.uk:
Jaws 30 Aniv
Big Lebowski (can't believe I never saw this before)
Audrey Hepburn Collection (5 movies a gift for my GF, the order arrived right on her birthday, even though I was expecting it to come a few days later. Just perfect!)
$41 shipped

Amazon.fr
Bourne Trilogy (BR)
Die Hard 1 (BR)
$76 shipped

How is the shipping from .fr? As good as from the UK?

My DVD.It order of March 27th is still "In attesa". Is this normal for them? I'd send them an email, but my Italian is non-existent.

I guess it just depends. I ordered from amazon.fr on 1 April, got my movies today, 6 April. Pretty good I say. Oh BTW I'm in NJ.

It is. They are not the speediest vendor out there. I would not worry yet.

Re: What Have You Ordered Recently? Part 7

Put in this order last week. All are blind-buys except for Tron and Save the Green Planet.

Tron - 20th Anniversary Collector's Edition (2-disk Set) [1982] [DVD] £2.98

The Way Of The Dragon (Special Collector's Edition) [DVD] [1972] £3.90

Fist Of Fury (2 Disc Platinum Edition) [DVD] £3.90

Save The Green Planet (2-disk Tartan Special Edition) [DVD] [2003] £5.72

The Big Boss - 2 Disc Platinum Edition [DVD] [1971] £4.24

Tell No-One (Ne Le Dis A Personne) [DVD] [2006] £2.59 (I think this is a 2-disk edition and contains a making of not found on the R1 standard DVD if I am correct.)

City Hunter (Special Collector's Edition) [DVD] [1994] £3.46

Item(s) Subtotal: GBP 26.79
Postage & Packing: GBP 9.02
Total for this Delivery: GBP 35.81
Total for this Delivery: USD 53.18 **

Ya know I really really love the Hong Kong Legends/Contender special Editions of Asain films and I am very saddened to see many I would love to have are now OOP. I have ordered about 20 special editions of Asian films (most are 2-disk sets) the past couple of months and I am becoming addicted to them almost. There are lts of good Jackie Chan ones that are OOP by the looks of it. Any other sites from the UK that still sell these?

Thanks for posting that Riot. I've been waiting for I'm a Cyborg to come back in stock for awhile. I've been checking my cart a few times a week for a price change and didn't even realized that I must have accidentally removed it from my cart. So thanks for the unintentional reminder. Looks like we have similar tastes, as I have the other 2 in my cart as well.

It turns out the delay was due to a problem on my end, not theirs. The order shipped on Tuesday and arrived Wednesday! All the more impressive considering I chose the cheapest shipping method available. The discs all look very nice. I wish all RHV titles had English subs.

Worth it for the massive booklet alone. You should really pick up all of the recent MoC titles - they're all phenomenal.
