Just arrived from Amazon.co.jp. Haven't opened it yet. Will be awhile before I can watch it. Nice tight little package. Hard to believe there are 6 discs in it. The width of the package is about the width of two standard amarays.

Yeah, got mine too.
Popped in the grindhouse disc. It is indeed 2:35;1 all the way through. The print looks slightly worse then the dc, BUT I think they cleaned it up just a tad for the director's cut version, as the Grindhouse version is almsot exaclty like I saw in the theaters. The colors pop out more in the DC versions. Each movie is almost exactly 87 minutes, with trailers and credits added its about 188 minutes all the way through. The regular director's cut discs do have dts sound, although the Grindhouse disc does not. Also subtitles are only in japanese, so if your have hearing problems, your kind of screwed on that one.
Glad I waited, although of course, within a few days, the Weinstiens will announce the 6 disc american version for 50 bucks less, but oh well.

When he gets it in (maybe today), I'll be ordering this from Xploited Cinema, so can someone check the Thanksgiving trailer to see if it is at all extended during the trampoline part. Thanks a million.

I just took some pictures for you all to check out:
The outer cardboard sleeve is firmer than the usual cardboard sleeve. It's pretty sturdy, and has a great look to it. As you can see it's not a huge set, but I must say that as far as the packaging goes I'm pretty happy.

I'll have to look at it when it arrives to see about the trailer. Tony from Xploited told me he should have it in stock today, so I kept checking the website all day until I finally saw it around 5:20 PST. I ordered it on the spot along with Ms .45 and The Stepfather.

A couple of the discs in my copy had fallen off their hubs, but fortunately do not appear to be scratched.
