I just checked my cc statement and there's a $10 charge for EACH transaction that I made with cd-wow and Paynova. FUCK!

Faust and Kwaidan arrived in the mail yesterday. (the twenty dollars discs)

I'm confused. Are you saying $10 additional for each transaction. My account only shows a single charge for the exact value of the single transaction. 8 discs = $79.60 and that's the only charge I see. Only one has not shipped but CDWOW charges you when you place the order. Always has as far as I know.

I had nine more come in today. Interestingly, I received Twenty Four Eyes, when my account still says "Pending despatch" for that one alone. Strange. Really pleased to get this one.

Paynova charges show up as "Cash advances" on my CC, that's why I got charged $10.

That certainly sucks about Paynova. I'm glad I didn't use them.

Received my first order of 5 today and each came in its own bubble mailer as opposed to one box, strange.

CDWow never mails more than one piece together.

Mine all came in their own bubble mailers. After looking through them all I am still waiting on 2 orders which hopefully did not get lost through the mail.

Kind of freaked me out, too, the first time I ordered.

Received 3/4ths of my second order...still waiting on Tartuffe? Should I be worried or is it normal for one item from a multi-disc order to come in at a later date?

arrived yesterday.

The four I ordered arrived together on Monday, and I got a chance to watch Funeral Parade of Roses last night; what a movie! Even though I paid a few dollars more per title, it's still a very good sale that was definitely worth getting in on.

I received the final DVD of my order. Really wished I had ordered them at $9.99 instead of $13.99 but I was able to get everything I ordered.

Got Nightmare Alley (from my 3rd order) and Twenty Four Eyes (2nd order).

My credit card is now also showing an additional $10 "Cash Equivalent" fee from Paynova. I've never experienced this sort of thing, and it would have been nice to have received some advance notice that this was how their system worked.

On top of the fact that I've already been charged the full price for my entire order (one title of which hasn't even shipped), this $10 "fee" really adds insult to injury and CD-Wow's "bargain" isn't looking so great at all anymore...

How can Paynova charge you a "Cash Equivalent" fee when their "User Agreement" (on the checkout payment page) does not mention anything about it?

It looks like CDWow is discontinuing their MoC catalog as their list of MoC titles has been steadily shrinking. If this is the case I'm wondering if they will backorder those titles that are out of stock?

I've gotten MoC titles this cheap at CDWOW before but never this many at once. I really hope they don't drop them. I hope they add the newer ones.

The problem is that Paynova transactions are showing as "cash advances" on your card. And your CC company charges $10 for each cash advance. I had to call my cc company to get the money back.
