The Seventh Seal –50th Anniversary remastered edition (Blu-Ray)

News here

Announced just before Bergman's death. It's all in the timing

It's a shame Tartan are ignoring HDVD.

It's a title like The Seventh Seal that would make me a converter. But isn't Blu-Ray region encoded unlike HD-DVD?

None of the forthcoming Tartan UK titles are region-coded.

Wow, this does make Blu-ray more tempting. If it would just drop in price a bit more ...

Out of curiosity, why is this? I thought they were all region coded. Are there other companies also releasing uncoded discs?
