Dealer (Hungary)

Can anyone tell me what this is about? It has a pretty good score on IMDB but there is no plot synopsis. Is it worth picking up the DVD?

ps
By the way Benedeck is currently working on some ultra-hyped, and very secretive as it appears, Hungarian project titled simply Milky Way. Photo below courtesy of Boyd van Hoeij). Looks beautiful....

This looks good enough for a blind buy. Where can I get this outside of the usual Hungarian headache?

Thanks, as always, Pro-B. Seems like a movie I should see and a director I should watch.

How about his first feature, Rengeteg (Forest)? Any good? Worth a blind buy?

And would you by any chance know if any of his shorts are available on DVD? Perhaps on the DVDs of either Dealer or Forest?

You can reach me at designhernadi(X)gmail.com
Note that I don't know where could You buy them on-line, I get them straight from the distributor Mokép,after phoning them up to check the stock (they have a little store in downtown).
I think I was wrong about the shorts on Dealer, the titles that are on the back cover may refer to the deleted scenes. There is no usable dvdreview site in Hungary where I could get this kind of information. But both have English subtitles at least on the main feature.

I went to pick up DEALER for a trade and "RENGETEG" is officially OOP. They sold all their stock and apparently the rights are expired as well. DEALER spec.edit. is still in the shops.

Any possibility that this is available at numero7.com? I searched in vain, but the engine was a bit screwy. I could only search on "CDs", a the "DVD" selection option was not accessible (like a "grayed out" option).

So, here's yet another Hungarian director considered somewhat "Tarkovsky-esque"? What hath Bela Tarr wrought!? (Apparently, a great cinema scene in Hungary!).
