This is England !

Does anybody know if there will be a US release of this movie ? I have been wanting to see this film but cant find any news, if there will be a dvd release coming soon ..

yes, its been licensed. will make a cinema appearance shortly before a DVD of it.

all of Shane Meadows films have seen stateside theatrical release, albeit in extremely limited release... I would expect the theatrical rollout/dvd later in the year (say Fall maybe). The UK DVD will most likely be released end of summer, since it just got theatrically released.

Thanks for the heads up. I am hoping to see it on the big screen if not get the dvd .

I can see no benefit from seeing this on a big screen as it's a very small film. It plays like a low-key 60 minute BBC TV film in fact. Channel 4 UK TV are set to show it in the next few months apparently.

It's a good movie. Definitely worth seeing, especially if you grew up in the UK (as I did).

just watched this film today, what a great film. the soundtrack kicked ass too.

I just noted on DLP's website that this will get released stateside in both 35mm and digital projection - interesting.
