Salvador (Spain)

This will only be a reference post as the news coming in from Spain is indeed pretty bad! Manuel Huerga's much-talked about Cannes screened film Salvador has been pushed back a few days to April 18th but the initial info has been confirmed that the 2 discs (both a SE and a regular one) will not be subbed in English.
Very, very disappoiting news as I have no preliminary info when the picture will be arriving at either UK or US shores.

Just finished watching this film. Easily the best Spanish production I've seen this year. A powerful story and an outstanding performance by Daniel Bruhl (he seems to have spent plenty of time learning Spanish).
The DVD is of excellent quality but unfortunately it is not English friendly. If you don't require English subs (I know more than a few members here don't) then this film most certainly belongs in your collections. Without a doubt a five-star material!

Angel: you are in for a great treat! And I find it very strange that such a powerful film does not appear to have a US release date set yet. Looking around...it does not appear it has a UK/AUS date either.
Simply 5 out of 5!
