Alexander: Limited Collector's Edition (Region-3 / 2 Disc Set)

I was thinking of buying this particular DVD, but I was wondering if anyone knew which particular version of the film this was: original, director's cut, or the last one released by Stone?

Any help would be great.

The Runtime listed is 175 min., which is the length of the original theatrical version.

Director's Cut: 167 min.
Final Cut: 214 min.

That Korean LE is reviewed here on DVDTalk:

I just finished watching the new "Revisited" disc last night, and the original theatrical cut is still the best overall version of the movie.

^ That's the one I own. The Director's Cut was done to appease the minds of the more conservative, which I'm not and I didn't care for it. The Final Cut seemed like a good version (I thought of the 'Kingdom of Heaven' Extended Edition and how incredibly superior that was to the original) but I'm glad you think the original was best.

Thanks for the link too

xfusejc Welcome to DVDtalk Please take some time to look around and get a feel for the place and how things work. For example there is a specific forum setup for discussions of non region 1 DVDs that this thread would be better suited for.

thx

For those that saw all three cuts, how would you rate all three?

Theatrical cut > Revisited > Director's Cut.

^ I think I might just rent the Revisited cut. I'm thinking of purchasing the region-3 set.
