Steelbooks and Collector's Tins 50% off (R4)

If you're hooked up to go international, these are some cool tins at great prices.

What's the current AU$ to US$ conversion?
Disregard, I just remembered XE.com --- 1.00 USD = 1.270 AUD (or AU$1.00 = US$0.787)

So... can one order just the tin (w/o the DVDs)? I have no problem dropping US$20 for the Serenity Tin, since the included DVDs have special features not available on the R1 release and I have a multi-region player. But what if I wanted the Reservoir Dogs or the Firefly Tins (and just the tins)?

Yes you can! You can even order the tins and specify that they include other movies inside them! These guys are great!!

So if I wanted The Da Vinci Code tin, I can just order that?

Also, I ordered a couple DVDs, does it work like Amazon with only one shipping charge or is it one rate for one shipment?

also, i've ordered the serenity tin from these guys before, well worth the price and the shipping really didn't take all that long.

no they are not "steelbooks" like "Dune" or "The Departed" were. they are rather flimsy, oversized tins that don't fit right on a shelf. they are ok, but nowhere near as cool as the "steelbooks".

How does the Serenity one look? I'm curious to know if that too is "flimsy". I might just cancel the order if it's not like the Steelbook design.

It looks like the type of tin Blockbuster offered with Pirates 2.

I've read that the exclusive extras on that Serenity set will actually be on the new upcoming R1 release of the movie. Just a head's up if that's the only reason you want that tin. I almost bought it when they first released it, but held off.

These are more like the X3 tin that Target offered. The regular keepcases just sit inside....right?

^ According to my 'Original King Kong' and 'Chaplin' DVDs, indeed. It's still really great though. It stands out.

Have you checked to see if there is a remote control hack for your player yet?
