I have no idea, and have yet to see the film, but you know that it is now also out on France R2? Instinct tells me this would be the one to go for if price isn't too big a factor.

I browsed through the R3 edition (which is actually region free) today, and my first reaction about the image quailty is that there's plenty of noise. But I'm just happy to finally get a chance to watch the film here in the US.
I am a bit annoyed that there aren't chapter stops at the beginning of each segment (12 chapter stops for 18 segments).
Also, does anyone know which two arrondissements were left out of the theatrical cut? They don't seem to be included in the deleted scenes, but I'm can't be totally certain.
The packaging is very nice and the booklet quite informative.
