DVD Talk Gold Edition
For Azumi 1, the Japanese edition is the only 'full' version out there.
All other editions have a truncated 'international' version, missing 15 minutes of footage.
The Japanese version has subtitles in English only for the main feature,
none for the extras. Thats really the best version.
But if you'd rather have extras you understand and not mind the extra 15 minutes out, the US or Australian discs are fine. The UK disc sucks, dont bother.
Azumi 2, as with most sequels, disappoints. Without Ryuhei Kitamura directing, the film did suffer somewhat.
But if you really want it, go for the Australian disc. Again, the UK sucks and those 2 are the only English subtitled versions out there.
