Recommend big dvd box sets not available in USA
 

If possible keep this thread in 'DVD Reviews and Recommendations' since this is more about recommendations and we are mostly talking about English language dvds here.

Could you recommend big dvd box sets that are not available in USA? Please list dvd sets that have at least 10 discs. If you could keep the focus more on complete series/collection set, that would be good. It helps to avoid buying chopped versions of dvd sets (especially that is happening more and more in USA e.g. Seinfeld is already a completed series and can be released in one complete set just like Friends, Mash, West Wing).

Yes, and it goes on sale for a significant reduction. I picked up mine for £63.80 (excluding VAT).

For lovers of British television, Amazon UK has quite a few big boxes at significant reductions, such as the following (all including VAT, which is removed for non-European customers)...

The Sweeney and The Professionals, both 16 discs, said to be the quintessential '70s British cop shows.

Note that they're also selling an older version of The Professionals, but it costs more!

(Also, while it may only have five discs, the 1972 BBC version of War and Peace with Anthony Hopkins is going for half price, or 25 pounds.)

That 24-disc Poirot collection goes on and off sale all the time at hmv.co.uk; they don't take off VAT but it was going for under 60 pounds a few weeks ago, but for one day only...

Dangermouse - 25th Anniversary box (complete series). The price on this has unfortunately gone way up (on Amazon.co.uk) - I paid about $50 USD about 2 months ago.
