Quantum Leap season 4 (Region 4) question
As we all know, the Quantum Leap R2 release of season 4 had replacement music. Does anyone know if the R4 release has replacement or original music?

I don't know but I doubt it. I was one who ordered the R2 set thinking it would have the original music and received it before finding out it didn't. I kept it because at least it's on 6 discs instead of 3.
If the R4 set did have the original music I'd buy it so I'm also interested if anyone knows for sure. Rewind doesn't say.
With S5 coming out (I think, the best of all QL seasons) I'm very interested in knowing if any region will have the original music. Again, I doubt if any will but if anyone knows for sure...

Someone finally posted an answer over at Al's Place:
Yep, I bought it the other day, and bad news I'm afraid - the music has been changed. It is actually the same as the UK (Region 2) version, because it has the symbol for Region 2 as well as the symbol for Region 4 on the box. Stupid thing is though, unlike the US and UK versions, the Region 4 version doesn't have any sort of warning that the music has been changed. Oh well, if our season 5 dvds are the same as the US ones, it will be only one season out of five without the proper music.
