Had a quick search but couldn't find the information posted anywhere. Thought us R2 Jet Li fans might be interested in knowing that it's officially released 23/10/2006. It's released in it's original Mandarin soundtrack with English subs, no English dub (thankfully!) but there is a Spanish and French dub. (Removed info about R1 release as it's unconfirmed)

It's available for £13.99 pre-order from Play.com but I'm sure if you look around you might be able to find it a pound or two cheaper elsewhere if you're on a budget.

The R1 release hasn't even been announced. I don't know who told you that it will be English-only, but it's pure speculation. As far as I can tell, the U.S. theatrical release retained the original dialogue (i.e. mostly Mandarin, with subtitles for non-English dialogue), so it seems unlikely the R1 DVD will be dub-only.

This is where I saw the spec, I emailed the mail order company and they said they got the info from a press release. I've edited my first post to remove the info in case they're completely wrong about the R1 specs.

I think I'll hold out for the uncut version. Hopefully that won't be to long.
