Help for portable DVD player!!!

Hi boys!
I have a problem: has been me given present a portable DVD player of the Polaroid. The exact model is Polaroid PDM-0714. Well, I would like it to read also the European DVDs and of other standards, not only those American. I know that there is a procedure to do with the remote control, but this model of mine doesn't include the remote control.
I would like therefore to know how to do for changing the options as I desire me.
Thanks for the attention and excuse if there are errors in this post, but I am Italian!
So long!

I have no answer for this model, but you could give a try with the PDM-0722 or PDM-0743 hack on this page (in french) .

Have you tried to play a Euro vid yet?

I've owned four Polaroid portable DVD players (yes they sucked and kept giving me new ones) and they played all regions w/no mods.

Huh?

You're the one that asked about playing European vids.

But the player works with DVD where within there are DivX movies
