Daisy hk vs korean version

I am getting confused on which version is what. There is a hk version that andy lau made and there is also a korean version. I also know that the korean release has a director's cut on it. Is the director's cut the hk version (hk version is longer) or is it a director's cut of the korean version?

I am about curious this too. Anyone got the Korean box set?

I watched first half of the movie, on Chinese edition DVD (dubbed in Chinese.) I don't know which version is that but I am not too impressed...

I am a sucker for any movie with Jeon Ji Hyun. I bought and enjoyed all past four movies she is in, but wonder if I should pass on this one...

From what I have read, the HK dvd version is the director's cut since the running time is around 124 mins while the theatrical one is only around 110 mins long.

I have (and only have seen) the HK dvd and this film is only recommended if you are a Jeon Ji-Hyun fan. It shows Andrew Lau's inconsistency as a director since the movie has too much melodramatics and slow-pan, high crane technical shots to make you care for the characters. The story may actually be a bit familiar to Asian film devotees since it is patterned closely to John Woo's The Killer. And Andrew Lau is no John Woo.

I agree with you, even though I have only watched half of the movie, I am not eager to watch the 2nd half... I am just wondering if the Korean version is alot better and should I spend $$ to get the Korean boxset...

As much I love watching Jeon Ji-Hyun, I enjoy her more doing comedy.

off-topic: Andrew Lau is really overrated, wonder how much he contributed to Internal Affair's success.
