Is there any difference between the Region 1 and 2 release? I know the R2 has 2 discs but from what I can tell that's the only difference.

Are the Deleted Scenes and Alternate Endings the same on both versions? The comparison fails to mention that. If yes, would it be worth it to sell off my copy of the R1 (it's still sealed, could probably just return it to the/a store) and import the R2?
