The famous documentary about the social and economic issues in Tanzania due to the introduction in the 60's of the Nile Perch in the Victoria Lake.

Chances are if you like Werner Herzog's films "Lessons of Darkness" and "Little Dieter Needs to Fly", you'll also like DN.

I don't especially like the former, and I din't like the latter. That not to say that I wouldn't like to... I just don't like the style of presentation - which is rather heavy handed and contrived.

I've only seen Aguirre and Fitzcarraldo and I liked "Darwin's Nightmare", which doesn't mean I could like other movies of Herzog.

About the fact it's heavy handed, I prefer that than a documentary of Michael Moore, the director don't show himself and has more credibility.
