Is DVDetctive gone?

Online other region retailer thedvdetective.com has been MIA for some time now. Their site says they'd be back in the first part of November, but so far, nothing. I know they opened a retail store, so that may be taking up their time. Anyone know anything?

The relaunch has been delayed for several months especially due to one of the Hurricanes that hit FL (location of pymt gateway).

You should still be able to access the store forum here

Perhaps their retail shop is so successful that their online shop is no longer such a high priority ... they did already give up international shipping.

One of the mods posted a couple days ago saying they hoped to open the online store again, but that was it. No specifics.

I've given up on waiting for them and have started using Drunken Master in LA. They usually tour the comic and sci fi conventions around the west, but now they're operating out of a comic store in LA. Great folks to deal with!

Even if it does reopen, I would never go there again. The bare minimum he could have done for his customers was to update the main page saying when it would actually open.
