French DVDs with English subtitles?

Does anyone know of a site which lists which DVDs from France have English subtitles, please? I'm trying to get hold of a copy of La Fille De D'Artagnan with Sophie Marceau and Philipe Noiret, but so far look like I may have to plumb for the horrendously mistitled US version - "The Revenge of the Musketeers". Please save me from having this artwork in my house...

To my knowledge, the French release of La Fille d'Artagnan does not include English subtitles.

I did a search at DVDFr.com for all of the releases that are listed with English subtitles. Here is the link:

For the information of "La Fille De D'Artagnan"
http://www.frenchfilmsondvd.com/Show...DVD=2020354059

In this site, you can find the information of French movie DVD release, and check whether it is English-friendly or not. Not limited to French R2. Other regions are included too. Very helpful.

The French version of Sophie's film does not include subs, Bjackson is correct. DVDFR is hardly an authority when it comes down to correct information regarding subs (look at the first page for example...Banlieue 13 is listed as having subs, IT DOES NOT, etc). Frenchfilmsondvd is a somewhat interesting source, the person who runs is quite kind, but again not the final source you would want to look at.

Thanks for the help, fellas. Looks like I'm gonna have to pick up that Ugly US version unfortunately, but them's the breaks I guess. Still, thanks to the link for FrenchfilmsonDVD I was able to discover that the French DVD of L'Appartenent carries English subtitles, so it's not all bad news. Cheers.

The problem is you can see this on the editor's shop :

Sons
Français : DTS5.1
Français : DD5.1
Anglais : DD5.1

Sous-titres
Arabe
Français
Anglais

I've seen on the net a cover in french with english subs for "Banlieue 13", it
was a slim case, maybe for another french speaking country.

Well, this is an old topic and i have stated my opinion quite a few times. Bottom line I am well aware of what the page(s) above indicate...it is incorrect. In fact, if you do a search I believe that I pointed out that what happened is an exact replica of the Crimson Rivers-2 case...a few French review sites got screeners with the announced English subs...for some unknown to me reason when the "official" release hit the shops the English subs were nowhere to be found. I believe the same has happened to a few Carlota discs.

To sum it all up to find the correct information about whether or not a certain French disc contains English subs you would have to refer to a number of sources (and even then you are still runnning the risk of getting a Beneleux version for instance...as I see that Amazon.fr recently has began importing a number of cheaper Benelux releases).

Have you checked that the Canadian version is identical to the US version?
They often come with dual side covers so you can pick whether you want French or English.

Today I had in my hands, "L'empire des loups" (black case) Limited Edition, it has english subs, "The transporter" Ultimate Edition (steelcase) has english audio and the blue plastic case of "La marche de l'empereur" Prestige Edition looks not so good to me.
