Me too. Once I combined the discount link with my refound voucher code for one order that was cancelled within a day.
I had to order it again and it cost some money because the way they refound to my credit card was considered as a "purchase" by my CC (ya, strange)

That's the problem. It did go through and then they emailed me about the cancellation because I used both at the same time. Jeez. I was using my own refund money, not another discount voucher. Still, this cannot be allowed.

Anyway, from this one-time experience, I don't want to take the chance again. Except this People dicount.

Well, my order shipped for which I used a discount link as well as a voucher ($2.00).

Edit: My Ronin SE DTS arrived yesterday!

UK R2 Delicatessen $6.95
Not as good as R2 France but at least it is English-friendly. Plus the low price.

Is Dragon Squad worth a blind buy? I can get it for 7.95 shipped from CDwow. I've read conflicting reviews of it. Has anyone here actually watched it? I did a search and came up with nothing. Thanks.

Has anyone else who pre-ordered the just released Masters of Cinema: Assassination had their order cancelled? I received a cancellation e-mail this morning for the following reason:

We are writing to inform you that we have exhausted all stock of Masters Of Cinema: Assassination Region 2 and will not be receiving any further stock of this title for the foreseeable future.

And.......to make matters worse, while it no longer appears for sale on the UK site, it is still listed for sale on the US/Germany and HK sites (among others).

As great as CD-WOW usually is, counting the above and my long-delayed "The Frighteners" (I don't have that big a problem with the delay but at least tell me when I can expect to receive it), I am a little down now on their service.

I received my War of The Worlds (2005) R3 SE from CD Wow and it did not have the slipcover and mini flashlight that DVDCompare.net lists. In fact, CD Wow did not even provide the slipcover for Collateral (2004) R3 SE that should have been on it, when I ordered it a few months ago. While its not a big deal about the slip cover, I would have liked the flashlight that was supposed to be with War of the Worlds.

That coupled with somewhat slow processing & delivery times makes me more hesistant to purchase from them in the future. I may just pay a little more and go through other e-tailers.

I had a similar experience recently. I inquired about it and was told that all CDWow sites share the same inventory pool (although not every DVD gets listed on all CDWow sites nor necessarily at the same price). I decided to check it out and sure enough my second order attempt with an alternate CDWow site also resulted in a cancellation.

I got it but I pre-ordered. It was probably limited to first presssings like most HK dvds are especially when it comes to slipcases.

I'm going to give it another shot with my order for "Masters of Cinema: Assassination". It is listed for sale on the UK site now (it might have been there all along but it didn't turn up on a search for the word "assassination", now it does however), and it is still listed on the U.S. site. Not only that, the price has now dropped to $14.95 (after link) on the U.S. site (my cancelled pre-order was for a higher price). I hope this order makes it through; I also ordered Nicholas Ray's "Masters of Cinema: The Savage Innocents", also at $14.95 (after link).

I ordered MOC's Assassination last week, and it shipped today. They had to receive new stock, so their email said.

Anyone received his/her "MoC: Assassination" yet? I'm looking for comments on this DVD including the movie itself.
