Stiilipidu a.k.a Shop Of Dreams (Estonia)

I wanted to kindly ask if anyone that reads (or understands a bit) Estonian sees anywhere on the net an announcement for a DVD release of Stiilipidu a.k.a Shop of Dreams, the official Estonian Oscar entry...please either post here or send me an email. Even if you happen to be only a "lurker" please contact me

I am sure that sooner or later an official Estonian DVD would come out (here's a country and a DVD market I have not penetrated yet...) but I don't find anything in English/French/German...With this said I will provide a free gift (DVD) if anyone could supply some information (I will fire an email to their Ministry of Culture as well to see if they could assist).

Here's the official English-friendly film site:
http://www.stiilipidu.ee/

Thank's in advance...

Ciao,
Pro-B

pro-b, I think the site you linked to does carry a DVD version. See the following link:

Stiilipidu DVD (no English subs?)

There is another Estonian site - dvd2002.ee - that I just became aware of. I didn't see the DVD listed there (on a quick check). I can't vouch for the site one way or the other; I don't know how legitimate the site is. They are selling the Estonian release of "Revolver" (which was sent out by CD-WOW). And, if you want to try them, they do seem to have a little more contact info. than the site you mentioned above.

This is very strange because I just emailed this site a few hours ago and this morning they certainly had only the VHS posted (I had this site bookmarked and have been checking it up almost daily). I am going to investigate them and see if I could find more.

ps.
Eddie: I see also now that there are no English subs mentioned! ...That pretty much means that the only chance to see this film is a UK/AU/or French releases...too bad!!

Thank you for the great news and a very strange one as well. When I started the thread I actually emailed someone at Videoclub.ee and was told that the upcoming DVD does not offer subs. DVD.ee clearly indicates that the DVD comes with English subs. Without a doubt I am going to add Stiilipidu to my collection. Excellent!!

ps
Let's see now who ships out of Estonia...to the US!

Best place to buy would be http://www.cdtroopers.com/ , but they have not added this DVD to their site, yet.

Second possibility is http://www.gutenberg.ee/kataloog.php?x=3&q=1&c=7677.
About ordering outside Estonia look http://www.gutenberg.ee/abi.php , rule number 3.
