FYI, I emailed Peter Kovacs a week ago to ask about the English site, the credit card system, and just simply using Western Union and I've still not received a reply.

Did anyone else by chance fair better than I did?

it looks like the easiest way to get this KONTROLL DVD is just take a trip to Budapest!

Apparently so. Unless ProB's contacts just want to ship a bunch of them and we all buy them off of him. Heh.

I've put Xploited cinema in contact with Peter (and I am utterly upset about this fiasco) so hopefully very soon he will have the discs for sale...You have to understand though that I pretty much did my part here. With this said, if it does not work out...I will personally get them from Budapest (will contact my friend) and forward them to the people on this board.

Ciao,

A couple of days ago I asked Tony at Xploited about getting Kontroll and he said that he had had no luck with it in the past. The company that released it never responded to his inqueries. Hopefully that will change in the future.

I was more or less kidding around about that, ProB. You have done your fair share to help us all out. I'm sure we would all highly appreciate it however. I guess it didn't hurt to throw it out there though now did it?

I actually just got an email back from them.

"sorry for the late reply! Our brand new English friendly site is finished,
now we testing this site, and if everything is in all right, than you can
see it on filmsarok.eu.

Now we accept WU or wire transfer too.

Best Regards,
Dénes Mészáros-Komáromy"

I'm not sure when they will be done testing the site. Its not up at the moment.

Nothing on the credit card payments however. I'm guessing his English may not be that good so perhaps it will be initiated with the English site or is included in the "Now we accept WU or wire transfer too."

But hey, that's something at least.

I wish I was serious. They've been saying two weeks for almost a year now I believe.

Seems I've had to re-register. Anyway, I was wondering, I read the review of the Kontroll DVD and when I looked it up on on Filmsarok I notice it says "Audiokommentár - a szereplők közreműködésével" which I can only guess translates to Audio Commentary which is not mentioned in your review. Is it in Hungarian only?

Hmm...I am not sure why it is not listed in the review. I could have sworn that I mentioned it! Anyhow...without even looking at the disc I can tell you that yes, there is an audio commentary (on disc 1) with the "kontrollers" (the whole gang) which is in Hungarian only. When I get back home tomorrow night I can double check but I am 100% sure there were no subs for it.

Ciao,

droidguy1119II,

Our rules specify that a member can have only one account. If something happened to your previous account you need to contact us about it rather than re-registering.

I have been trying for a while to get hold of a copy of the Hungarian released Sorstalanság 2 Disc DVD set, at long last on Monday I worked through the website of Filmsarok.hu and managed to complete the order, I even received my email confirmation, but it never said anything about Payment???? the same day I sent an email to Peter at [email protected], but no reply?

Does anyone have any advice Please! or what is the system.

Thanks John

Jaybs, I'm sorry, but i was being sarcastic about the two weeks - this DVD online store seems to be awful. They promised some English payment page on their website and said it would take "two weeks", but half a year later, it still hasn't shown up...As long as they didn't take your money, I would find another Hungarian DVD store to order from...

The problem is there isn´t any other store to order from... or we would have done it a long time ago.

There must be One Hungarian store who would like to sell perhaps 20 plus copies to those just here on this site?

I have just tried to work my way through DIVIDO website but I got stuck on postage, so I have sent them an email?

a vacation in Hungary is probably a lot much easier and more convenient way to get Hungarian dvds, than trying to order them online...

agreed. now, does any one know any information about that R3 HK version? I think I'm just going to have to order it since it can't be worse than the R1. Tod, give jaybs a chance, he's new and doesn't know how we roll with our suttle sarcasm.

BuddhaWake, regarding the HK R3 release, one thing you might want to research first is the runtime. DDDHouse and Sensasian are listing 112 minutes, but the actual runtime should be significantly longer. I realize the specs on e-tailer sites are often incorrect and I don't recall reading about any shorter cut of the film, but maybe still hold off until you get some sort of confirmation that the HK R3 is indeed the full-length cut.
