The Puppet Master Box Set (4 Discs) - 11/21/05

DVD is also up for preorder at Amazon.co.uk for the same price. Obviously not the whole Puppet Master set but a nice collection of 3 films plus the Legacy dvd.

Puppet Master (Dir. David Schmoeller, 1989): Five psychics hear rumours that the secret of life has been discovered by Andre Toulon, a puppeteer, and decide to investigate. What they find are five mutated puppets which have been specially designed to kill...

Puppet Master II (Dir. Dave Allen, 1990): Those nasty little puppets are back to wreack more havoc and take care of some unfinished business.

Joined by 'Torch', the newest member of the sinister troop, the puppets exhume their beloved creator 'Toulon' and gather the brain matter that keeps them alive. Yet the puppetmaster has a deadly plan of his own.

Demonic Toys (Dir. Peter Manoogian, 1992): A female police officer is stopped in her tracks when, pursuing a pair of gun smugglers, she is led to an abandoned factory. Inside a demon-child orders the toys within to come alive and move in for the kill...

Puppet Master: The Legacy (Dir. Charles Band, 2003): The history of horror began when Andre Toulon, a benign toymaker, became the master of a group of killer puppets. It's a tale of sorcery, death, resurrection and deadly revenge as told by Eric Weiss,a young boy who was once protected from Hitler's SS by Toulon. Weiss, now a grown man, has spent his life trying to perfect Toulon's secret of giving life to the inanimate. In comes Maclain, a rogue agent who wants to peddle the secret on the open market.

Maclain breaks into Weiss' lab, shoots and tortures him, but Weiss will not give up the secret. The tale unfolds, weaving new footage with flashbacks from previous Puppet Master films as it becomes a battle of wills between Weiss and Maclain. The new puppet master remains defiant as the assassin moves in for the kill, unaware that Weiss has found the secret and Toulon's puppets are ready to shed blood for their master again.

How is it a Puppet Master boxset if it omits part 3, 4 and 5, yet includes Demonic Toys as part of the set. ?

The same way that the Hellraiser cube is a box set?

If this Puppet Master set came in some sort of crazy packaging, I'd possibly pick it up.

ah poop. I was hoping for the full set. since I believe 3-5 are the only movies that aren't available outside that R1 OOP set. I think 1 and 2 are available in other regions.
