DVDCompare
DVDCompare has been inaccessible for the last few days. Any info as to when it will be back? Is there another site that provides the same comprehensive level of comparative info on international DVDs?

Looks like it may be related, although no further updates, but the following site is up: http://www.bytesandbobs.com/dvdcompare/ [ http://www.dvdcompare.info/ ]

"I've been putting this off for some months now but the more regular visitors may have noticed that updates to the site have been few and far between over the last few months. It is with great regret that I must let you all know that from this point the site is closed for updates, I will keep it open for a while but will not be making any changes to the database. The overhead on my time had become unworkable and the easiest thing for me and the fairest to you is to officially cease all updates. Thanks for your loyalty and commitment to the site over the past 3 years."

this blows. dvdcompare is an invaluable resource when comparing and buying dvds from all over the world. hate to see them go. guess it's not a question of money, but of time. unfortunately a quick paypal donation isn't going to save the site like we did for dvdbeaver.

Glad to hear it. Without your site and dvdbeaver.com, this kind of info would take forever to find.
