thankfully no, the pound to dollar rate is still pretty crappy at the moment - the dollar prices seem right to me.

Make sure you click on the "Click here to activate the discount and go shopping! »" link from that page... Then just search on John Woo. Presto $14.95

*edit* BTW, do you play Q3 as RonMexico?

I just ordered the John Woo Collection and Gattaca. First time buying from that place so if the transaction goes well I may have to put in another order.

I just wanted to say that CD Wow is really awesome as they emailed me to say they already shipped out my copy of Extras on Friday. They seem to offer up some great service.

CDwow rocks! Any good deals on discs with extra content (besides DTS) over their R1 releases?

I had to go ahead and pull the trigger on the John Woo collection even though I already own R1/R0 copies of each movie!

Just got two e-mails stating that the items I ordered have shipped - surprised that they don't ship both together. One quick question...this was the first thing I purchased overseas...do credit cards normally charge a fee based on the total amount of the purchase or is it a set conversion fee. I just noticed that I was charged an additional 65 cents for a foreign transaction fee.

most credit cards have recently started charging a small percentage to do exhanges. I think is a rip-off though. why didn't you change the currency right before you paid? I though this was something that was doable with cd-wow unless they changed recently.

When I ordered the currency was in U.S. dollars...I used one of the links provided in this thread, although I don't know if I needed to do something before I completed the order to avoid the conversion charge.

its pretty easy. right when you go past the delivery address stuff and you make it to the credit card selection, right on top it will have the price. if you click on it you can select many different currency types.

Uh oh. Looks like they finally fixed the "$2 coupon" glitch. It used to work as follows:

$22.95 --> $14.95
$13.95 --> $9.95
$9.95 --> $6.95

and everything else would drop by $2. Now those three exceptions don't work, and they may have raised some prices as well.

it may be the end of it all. my bookmark did not work yesterday so i had to go through the link that was posted here, today non work as of an hour ago or so. the sadest part is that sometimes the 2$ off was taking off more than $2.

It's too bad...my first order here will probably end up being my last. Damn grad school is going to cost me an arm and a leg and I won't be able to spend too much on dvd's anymore.
