I'm not 100% sure yet, as I have yet to buy one of them yet, but here's a page with the no-slipcover releases. You can visit each item's page individually and find front and back scans.
http://madmad.co.kr/event/event_cont...l?event_id=862
There are a small few here that may still come with slipcovers, but you be the judge:
http://madmad.co.kr/event/event_cont...l?event_id=878
Notice that in the first link, you will see those DVDs have "MARKDOWN" printed right above their barcodes.

yep. no slip covers. received save the green planet, memories of murder and maengbu a few days ago from dvdheaven. for the price though who cares if it comes with a cardboard sleeve? anyway not all these titles orginally had slip covers. both my sympathy for mr. vengeance and three extremes didn't come with slip covers and that was when they were full priced a year ago.

I got Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance and Save the Green Planet from DVDHeaven like feloosa. These are great deals even without slip covers. Both were 2 disc editions with anamorphic transfers and DTS sound. As OP stated, "MARKDOWN" is printed in the barcode area and the UPC code seems to be different from prior editions. The pictures pictures on Madmad.co.kr also seem to indicate inserts, but both titles I received did not have inserts. I had wanted Sympathy for some time now but the anamorphic Korean disc was OOP and I didn't want to pay for the more expensive UK release.
Also DVDheaven has My Sassy Girl for $13.26 which is supposed to be the Director's Cut and the Starmax Dances with Wolves with limited packaging for $16. These are pretty good geals too.

I've had Memories of Murder, Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance and Save the Green Planet since before they originally went OOP and they did not come with slipcovers. My Sassy Girl did, however.

Sorry if this is a noob question but what is a slipcover? Is it one of those cardboard folding cases instead of an actual dvd case? Or is it the little paper insert inside usually listing contents of the disks? I don't know :P
I was interested in some of these reissued Korean dvds and never knew about this so I'm wondering what it is.
Thanks

It's like a cardboard sleeve you slide the keep case in. They're pretty pointless, but I like having them when their art is different from the one on the DVD's cover.
Question: What kind of slipcover did the Starmax My Sassy Girl have? The kind with openings at the top and bottom, just the bottom, or on the side? Also, is it any different from the keep case cover art?
Thanks.
