Rois et Reine has been set to be released in the UK by Artificial Eye on November 14. Nominated for Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival and winner of the Cesar-Best Actor Award (Mathieu Amalric). Starring Emmanuelle Devos (Read My Lips), Catherine Deneuve, Maurice Garrel (Son Frere). Directed by Arnaud Desplechin (Esther Kahn).

The R1 DVD comes out November 15, from Wellspring.

That's on my to watch list.
Fans of Arnaud Desplechin/Mathieu Amalric/Emmanuelle Devos might be interested to know that Pathé UK are also re-releasing the long OOP Ma Vie Sexuelle 26 September.
Available in the US in a shockingly bad transfer under the title 'My Sex Life'.
I like to keep away from Wellspring whenever possible.

I also prefer to avoid Wellspring whenever possible, but on the other hand my monitor won't display PAL so I have to factor in PAL>NTSC conversion artifacts when comparing transfers.
And I really want the best version on DVD. FWIW, this is the best movie I've seen all year.
