Hmm, CDWOW! seem to list it as already available. However, no English subtitles.

Completely overlooked the recent R1 release of this (under the title "Before the Fall"). That might be a good thing though....from what I gather it is yet another non-anamorphic treatment for a foreign film (along with some ugly cover art). Anyone know if I'm wrong and it is indeed anamorphic? How about the UK release, anamorphic? I can't seem to find a review.

Okay, very sorry guys, false alarm on my part, I'm virtually certain the R1 is indeed anamorphic. I did some research...the R1 is put out by Picture This. The back of the case only lists "Widescreen" but I have at least one other Picture This release "The Great Water" and that was indeed anamorphic (the back of that stated "Widescreen 2.35:1").

I also see that Pro-B has a Picture This release coming up soon for review - "King of Thieves" - and the back of that says only "Widescreen" just like "Before the Fall", so we should be 100% certain real soon when Pro-B posts his review for "King of Thieves", though I do think it is fairly certain already. Now I just wish I hadn't forgotten to order "Before the Fall" during the DDD sale.

Correct, Picture This for some strange reason do not mark their releases as being 16/9 yet they are (King of Thieves inlcuded).
