I got my shipment confirmation from Amazon yesterday. I decided not to cancel my cd-wow order as they say it shipped today. I'll just keep the least damaged one and sell the other on ebay.

Keep us informed on where you ordered from, and how they packed the sphere!

Also, how much was the shipping from amazon.co.uk to the US?

Shipping through Amazon.co.uk to the US was just slightly over 3 pounds.

You just slot them in and you can take them off again too (they come in little re-sealable bags) when you put it back into the Easter Egg style packaging. I got mine through the post on Saturday. It's definitely one of the coolest box sets I've ever seen, and for the price, it's unbelievable.

I just recieved mine through Amazon and the outer box was damaged and had one side almost off but the main package survived.

I tried out a couple of the disk and just browsed some scenes. I will say the transfer is first class, very smooth and not grainy like some older transfers. Colors are very good and surround sound is also very good on later disk.

I have a small problem and I am not sure if this is something that happens with the Pal conversion or not but the picture jitters a bit like all scenes are done with a nervous hand held camera, even title scene did this slight jitter. It is not a problem with moving scenes but still scenes should be solid not jittery. I am using pc dvd player with region changed to region 2.

Again, I am very pleased with the quality of the picture, color and sound. Much better than the first time I saw this movie on vhs on a 19" tv. Looks fantastic on a widescreen hdtv now.

I think I'll pick up the sphere from choicesdirect.com then... I'm willing to pay a few extra bucks to make sure it arrives without damage.

Yuck. I thought that box is totally impracticle. I opted for the 4 disc digipak, and the $10 I saved. That's a beautiful "Phantasm" set. Too bad I don't like the movies, otherwise I'd get it just to show off.

I ordered mine from CD-Wow, so I should have it in just under a week. I can't wait to dive into this one.

Got mine, pre-order via amazon.co.uk, standard mail...

It looks GREAT! The box was slightly squished, however anchor bay UK's packaging was very very good, so there was no damage. I like the little things like the stand, and the resealagle baggies for the prongs.

Yay!

This set could be much better with thicker outer box and steel sphere.

I put in my pre-order before they even had graphics up, maybe the day of or after they were first put on Amazon, got my delivery 2 days ago via DHL. Nice sets. I ordered both the sphere and the regular box set. They were so cheap, how could I not?!?! The sphere is for display, the box set for regular play.

The funny thing is, I opened the box set and found that I had 2 Bonus discs, and no Phantasm IV! I sent some emails out to AB UK and Amazon UK. Amazon has offered to send me (and it's actually shipped) another set, with no return of the current one necessary via DHL again, and AB UK sent me an email telling me to send in my extra bonus disc and they'll swap it for a copy if IV. Good, fast CS all around.

you don't have to return the one you already have? that doesn't seem right...
