question about The X-Files Seasons 1-9 DVD set
i see these sets from Hong Kong, they say that they are the orginal release there not blackmarket or bootleg, and they go for around 100 bucks on ebay. anyone every bid on one of these or have this set? how is the picture quality etc? i been wanting to

If the deal looks too good to be true, it's a bootleg.
Fox Home Entertainment sells each season of the X-Files for close to $100. Do you really think they're going to license it out to some foreign vendor to sell the entire 9 season run for that much?
Anything on eBay that says "Asian Collector's Edition" and is listed as region-free is by definition a bootleg.

yeah i guess its too good to be true, i just want to pick this series up but never gonna for about 900 or more bucks after all the seasons

Best Buy current has all 9 (legit) seasons for $50 each. Plus (look in the DVD Bargains section), you can get $10 off every $100 you spend.
I'm not going to pretend that ~$400 is not a lot of money, but it's a pretty good deal. I'd certainly rather do that than pay less for a cheap bootleg.
