Quality of chinese box sets of US TV shows ?

I hope this is the right forum area ... and I do not want to start a whole big discussion about copyright and such ... but I recall that a long time ago there were some pretty good reviews about chinese edition star wars DVDs out here.

I see that all over ebay complete sets of TV shows are offered (buffy, star gate, star trek .. ) and it does appeal to me since those usually take less shelf space that e.g. my complete 7 box set of next generation. I also find that I watch these things only once and then move on.

What I just fear, judging from the covers (e.g. star trek deep space nine is called star trek 1 and shows the TNG crew on the cover) if these sets are really complete, or if some episodes from other shows seep in ... i once had it with a set of japanese anime where the first disc was anamorphic WS . and then suddenly we changed to 4:3 ...

So, i am not looking for sources ... I am just looking for info from people who have evaluated those sets and what they have to say ...
Thanks

Prima facie, your stated requirements appear to be at odds with the DVD Talk rules. Please read them and decide whether you value your membership sufficiently to adhere to them.
