Les Misérables: The Dream Cast in Concert (DTS) from Korean DVDs
http://www.koreandvds.com/dvddetail.html?id=7181

I first found this on the koreandvds.com website in December but it was out of stock. I put it on my wish list to be contacted if and when it ever came in again. I didn't have much hope. Then this week I got an email that it was back in stock and I ordered it immediately. It has shipped.
I know some people are interested in it as we have talked about the superbit edition that was announced in 2003 but eventually cancelled.
Also, it's for all regions and I assume it's NTSC, being from Korea.

Does the PAL speed up affect it adversely?

Right after I bought it, they said it was out of stock again (which was why I didn't post this on Monday). I now figure when they got them back in they made a mistake and put it at the old price. Then they took it off until they changed the price to what it was supposed to be (why that would take three days though, I don't know).
I'd gladly have paid the higher price; it's just frosting on the cake to have gotten it at the lower price.

I'm surprised this thing is so popular. I got this DVD back in September 2003 also from KoreanDVDs for only $8.00. I bought it last time just to make the shipping cheaper, but it's definitely worth getting.

That's a very nice looking package. Also nice that it includes Stage By Stage. But the sound is just 2.0, right?

the korean release is indeed a good buy for the price.. but a better box type packaging was released in HK or Taiwan.. not so sure where. i have seen one in B&N online store.. the price is outrageous though..

I finally got it. I was thinking it may have been lost in the mail because it's never taken this long for me to get something from Korean DVDs. Then I opened the case and the disc was floating but somehow there wasn't a scratch on it.
So
.
The picture is a little soft and the listing of chapters on the back of the case is wrong but the sound is terrific and that's the most important thing.
If and when the superbit ever does come out I will upgrade to it but until then this will do nicely.
Edit: Contrary to the listing on the site which claims the disc is all regions, it is Region 3.
