Superman (Region 2)

Can anyody comment on the special box set (black with photos, poster, etc.) and how (if) it differs from the other regions. Is it worth the extra money? (I'm thinking yes).

It looks like the same collector's sets issued for Oceans Eleven, Twister & Blade Runner. From what I remember, none of the DVDs showed any improvement over the discs released outside of these sets and the only differences between the two were the lobby cards, senitype and booklets included in the boxsets. If you are looking for a better version of the film, this would not be the place to look. They pack the same DVDs they release as non-collector's item discs in the box and Voila! they are "collectable". By looking at your user-name you are a "super-afficianado" and this may be right up your alley. If you like the added fluff of the senitype & lobby cards, then order away. But if you are just interested in the best presentation for the film, you can stick with the non-boxset disc.

While we're on the topic, are there any differences between the R1 + R2 editions of Superman I or II?
