DVDs in Sweden - recommendations please?
I'm soon going to be visiting Sweden, and wondered if anyone could recommend some decent discs to look out for (and where to shop for them -- I'll be in Stockholm.)
I'm more interested in movies than versions (i.e. I'm not after things just because they have a DTS track or whatever), so if anyone can recommend any good movies that I might find hard to track down outside of Sweden/Scandinavia, that'd be great.
Thanks in advance for any/all suggestions...

Definately pick up Lilja 4-Ever if you don't already have it. Ondskan is another one that's definately worth picking up.
My wife is from South Sweden, so I'll ask her later and see if there's any other must-haves. Do you need English subtitles, because a lot of their releases seem to only have Scandinavian ones.

I will recommend a few Scandinavian films that I have added up to my collection. Not all are Swedish but are exceptional films worth having (esp. by someone as sophisticated as you are).
Under the Sun (superb R2 version)

Swedish Love Story (classic!!!!)

Arven

Okay...(lovely, lovely Paprika Steen...
)

Manden Bag Doren (from the director of OKAY
)

etc....
Ciao,
Pro-B
ps
For the last 3 titles you need to get the Danish discs...being easily available in Sweden. Lilya-4Ever is also a good suggestion though the UK disc is pretty much on par with the Scandinavian version(s).

Thanks Yocke, Shagrath & Pro-B: some nice-looking stuff there. To answer Shagrath's question: English/French subs (or audio) would be preferred, but aren't 100% necessary.
So, thanks for those... keep 'em coming! Also, any ideas on where to shop??
