Monsieur Hire release?
I could have sworn that Monsieur Hire was scheduled for a R2 release sometime this month, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. Anyone know where it might be available?

Perhaps you thought of these 3 titles that are coming the first week of March (got pushed back a bit)...but I am not aware of a Monsieur Hire R2 release coming out this/next month.

I've been looking for this on DVD for a long, long, long time.
At one point I was seriously thinking of getting the (very expensive) Japanese release, which doesn't have any subtitles, and typing the subtitles from my VHS copy on to a PC and then adding them in to the Japanese version. But it would have been an insane amount of work.
Maybe this 2002 release might have English subtitles. Does anybody know?

I can assure you that the Dutch version does not have English subs. In fact, if I could recall correctly this is a very old DVD that was port of the French OOP disc (produced by A-Film). With this said, I am fairly certain the film will sooner or later appear in R1 land.
