Stalingrad R3 Korea - Video Specs?

I'm looking for the video specs of the R3 Korea edition of Stalingrad. It's listed here as "16:9 LB", but I'm suspicious as all other current editions of this film are non anamorphic or have the wrong aspect ratio.

Some Korean sites say 1:66:1 and many say 16:9. Is Nicheflix ever wrong? Not saying my sources are better, god no, I've seen many errors. Just wondering if the Korean sites are wrong again.

My question now is which is the best version to get?

According to DVDCompare.net the R2 Spain version has the correct aspect ratio 1.85:1 but DVDGo's listing says it's 4:3!

Mark's (Nicheflix) information regarding this film is 100% correct. In fact I used to own the R1 Fox disc and rented the Korean one to compare. They are both VERY POOR- lots of dirt, artifacts, print damage...you name it the disc has it. This film is in dire need of careful restoration. I have not seen any of the R2 versions but I would NOT recommend that you picl either the Korean or R1 discs. Look elsewhere unless the R3 is extremely cheap and you want to hold off until a SE comes out.

I can confirm the spec as I had owned the Korean released version

Full Screen Letter box 1.66 :1

It's not 1.85:1 but 1.66:1. This movie was made in Germany and many European movies are shot at 1.66, to my knowledge.

Like pro-bassoonist, I also DO NOT RECOMMEND this DVD. The story and movie is good but 2.0 sound for a war movie + not so a good video transfer hurts it's selling point.
