Has the earth titled axis into some alternative dimension or has Amazon Germany completey changed its ways? I placed a fairly large order with them (3 box sets) about a week and a half ago and was fully expecting to sit back and deal with the normal wait time of at least 6 weeks or more. Lo and behold, my order showed up at my door less than a week later!
Not sure what this means, but just thought I'd pass it on...

Maybe they've picked up a few pointers from Amazon.co.uk - they've always had incredibly fast service.

Something changed about a year ago.

My Amazon.de stuff (to London, UK) used to be delivered via courier by Royal Mail-Deutsche Post (same as USPS essentially).

It's now delivered by Royal Mail air mail.

It's no quicker though.

I think you were just lucky. I try them every now and then and it always takes a month, at least.

For me it takes normally a day.

The last few things I ordered from them came pretty quickly.

my last amazon.de order came from amazon.co.uk?? strange.

thought I never see the day where the statement: "incredibly fast shipping from Amazon Germany" would get uttered.
