Best version of Tae Guk Gi to get??

I'd really like to get the 3-disc tin, but when it comes down to it, I'd rather have a version with English subs on everything. Does the version with the tin have subs on everything? Do any versions have subs on everything? Or should I wait for the region 1 release in Feb.?

I got the tin - I like it. Haven't bothered with the extras, but the movie spans 2 discs. Looks and sounds awesome though.

Or you could wait and see what the deal is with the forthcoming Taegukgi EE from Korea.

Supposedly due this month, but I still haven't found any hard info on specs yet.

I'll stick with what I got unless it comes on one disc with dts and a pair of handmade shoes and that same pen and tons of extras in english.

Thanks for pointing this out, saved me from buying any of the other dvds. I prefer to get reg1 when possible.

Besides the Special Edition banner at the top, the cover doesn't look half bad.
