UGC = part of Universal.
I can't make my mind up about this film. I'm a massive fan of Ozon. He must be the best mainland European director that's working (with Almodovar close). I think so. Sous le sable had an affect on me for many many days.
I'll get this on Ozon's name.

Bought this yesterday (R2 Belgium/Benelux), and found that the extras (but not the feature!) carry optional English subs - there's a "making of...", interviews with the actors by Ozon, and some lighting tests. Total of these extras runs to about 100 mins.
The feature itself comes with optional Dutch subs or the option of French subs for the (small) English-speaking part of the film.
I thought it was interesting that the extras had English subs esp. as there was no mention of this on the box...

Amazon.de and other German websites indicate English subtitles for Ozon's 5x2 (to be release April 28th).
http://www.amazon.de/exec/obidos/ASI...182734-3556024
Can anyone post menu screens that confirms English subtitles.

Since the film is being released today in the US, I doubt there will be any R1 news for at least a couple of months.
5x2 was released in the UK in March, so there should be R2 news soon.

UGC Films via Pathé are doing the UK DVD.
Fox do their distribution of course.
Hopefully there won't be burned in subtitles.

Pathé UK are a very lazy DVD distributor.
Will they port the DTS from the fab Fox Pathé Europa collector French set?
Would you have believed Pink Floyd would get back together?
No and no.
